My child has been at the school for almost a year now, starting just after he turned three. During this time, I’ve seen tremendous growth in him—not only in his learning, but also in his ability to socialize and build relationships with other children. The school community is incredibly close-knit, and there is a strong sense of connection among families. It’s common for children to continue building friendships outside of school through playdates, which has been so meaningful for both the kids and parents.

One of our favorite aspects of the program is the level of parent involvement. From school trips to places like farms and fire stations to participating in classroom activities, it truly feels like a shared experience. We chose PLCP because we valued the opportunity to be actively involved in our child’s education and to help him transition into a school environment at a comfortable, gradual pace. It has been such a positive and rewarding experience for our family.

My 2 sons went to PLCP and we loved it. The teacher always planned fun, engage and learn activities for the kids. Besides that, being in the classroom with my kids and watching their grow confident, being social and making friends for a lifetime is priceless. The community is very support and friendly. We highly recommend PLCP.

We are amazed by the ways our entire family has developed because of PLCP. Our children have a foundational love for learning and school in general. We were impressed by how seamlessly the play-based environment helped them gain valuable social, emotional, and academic problem solving skills. We have grown as parents right alongside our children, grateful for shared experiences with other parents and the education opportunities. Most of all, the sense of community and connection has deeply enriched our lives.

We’ve been at Pine Lake Co-op for the last 5 years, and we’ve found the perfect balance between flexible structure and the freedom to just play and be kids here. Our family has had nothing but wonderful experiences with Teacher Kim and now Teacher Monica! It’s very evident that she is thoroughly experienced with these age groups and provides a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for the kids. There’s no better feeling as a parent than seeing your child thrive in their first experience of school! I am grateful to have found a preschool where my son is safe, positively engaged with his peers and teacher, and excited to go to school each day.

The co-op model is unique and we have loved building connections with other families. Our oldest is now in 2nd grade and a play-based preschool set him up for success when he transitioned to kindergarten. Our middle has been at PLCP the last 2.5 years and it’s been amazing to see him grow his confidence and social skills. Our youngest will be starting at PLCP in the toddler class this fall, and we’re so excited to see her education journey begin! As a former K/1st teacher, I have no doubt that Pine Lake Co-op is a wonderful place for both you and your child to grow and learn together.

Our child had a truly wonderful experience at PLCP. The teachers are very patient, and deeply attentive to each child’s needs, creating a nurturing and joyful environment where children feel safe and excited to learn. One of the most valuable aspects for our family was the opportunity for parent participation. Being able to stay and gradually step back helped our child comfortably adjust to the school setting and successfully overcome separation anxiety. This thoughtful transition made a lasting difference in confidence and independence. We are incredibly grateful for the care, support, and sense of community this preschool provided. It has been a meaningful and positive foundation for our child’s early development and next stage of learning.

We have loved our time at PLCP. Our son is coming to the end of his time at preschool and is absolutely ready for Kindergarten next year thanks to PLCP. The environment is nurturing, fun, and fosters creativity and social bonding. Personally, I have truly enjoyed being part of the community from working in the classroom to social gatherings with the other families. I also appreciate understanding what my son’s day is like and contributing to the positive, inclusive, and engaging environment.

My child is a gentle, and slow to warm up little boy. At home we speak only Chinese, so when he turned three, he was still unable to communicate in English. Finding a school environment where he could feel safe and comfortable while gradually building language and social skills was something I worried about constantly. When I discovered the Pine lake coop preschool, I immediately felt this was exactly what our family needed. The co-op model allows parents to take part in their child’s school life, which helps children like mine adapt at their own pace, learn independence, and feel supported as they enter an English speaking environment. Although we have only been in the program for a month, the surprises and growth we have experienced already go far beyond my expectations. Teacher Monica care so deeply for each child and guide every parent with warmth and patience. Children play and learn joyfully, and parents also learn from one another.

This program truly allows both children and parents to grow together. In just a short month, I have seen my son begin to interact with classmates and other parents, becoming more independent while still feeling secure. In today’s busy world, I am grateful that our community has PLCP, which gives families like mine the chance to support our children in the way that suits them best.
